These terms cover this website. They do not replace the written contract for any actual work — that document governs the job, and it always wins over anything written here.
Who we are
This website is operated by Master's Flooring & Custom Tile, LLC, a licensed Oregon contractor (CCB #238301) based in Salem, Oregon. "We" and "us" mean that company. "You" means whoever is using the site.
By using this site, you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.
An estimate request is a request, not a contract
This is the most important thing on this page, so it goes first.
- Submitting the form, or calling us, does not create a contract, book a date, or commit either of us to anything.
- Nothing on this site is a quote, a price, or an offer. We do not publish prices here precisely because a real number depends on what is actually behind your wall.
- We may decline work, be unable to take it on, or be booked out. We will tell you straight if so.
- Work only becomes binding when both sides sign a written contract for that specific job. Oregon law requires licensed contractors to put certain agreements in writing, and we do.
The photographs
Every project photograph on this site is of work we actually completed. They are there to show the standard we build to — they are not a promise that your room will look like them, cost what those cost, or take the same time. Tile, lighting, room size and what is behind the existing wall all change the outcome.
The 3D diagram on the home page is an illustration of how a tiled shower assembly is layered. It is a teaching diagram, not a specification, a construction drawing, or a representation of any particular product.
Reviews
The customer reviews shown on this site are quoted from our public Google profile and are reproduced as written. We have not edited them to be more flattering, and the rating and review count shown were accurate when the site was built. Read them at source if you would rather — we link to the profile.
Using the site
Please do not:
- Use the form to send spam, abuse, or anything unlawful
- Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site
- Scrape or republish our photographs as your own work
The text, photographs, logo and design of this site belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to link to us or share a page. You are not welcome to pass our project photographs off as your own portfolio, which is unfortunately something that happens in this trade.
The site itself is provided as is
We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide the website on an "as is" basis and do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of every typo. Content may become out of date between updates.
To be explicit about what this does not do: this section limits our liability for the website only. It does not limit, waive or disclaim any warranty, obligation or right relating to construction work we actually perform for you. Those are governed by your written contract and by Oregon law, including the requirements that come with our CCB license and bond. Nothing on this page reduces the protections Oregon law gives you as a customer of a licensed contractor.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Oregon law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising out of your use of this website — for example a lost opportunity because a page was briefly unavailable. Again: this concerns the website, not our workmanship.
Links out
We link to a small number of outside sites, such as our Google profile and the Oregon Construction Contractors Board license lookup. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about this website belongs in the state or federal courts serving Marion County, Oregon.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated version.
