A two-person shop, on purpose
Cris and Ashley started Master's Flooring & Custom Tile in 2014 and have been working around Salem and the Portland metro ever since. Cris runs the installation side. Ashley handles design, materials and keeping the project on budget and on schedule.
That split is most of why the process tends to go smoothly. The person choosing the tile and the person setting it are married to each other, so nothing gets lost between choosing the tile and setting it.
It also means we are not running six crews. We take on the work we can do properly, which sometimes means you wait a little longer to get on the calendar.

How we work
What you can expect
We come and look first
Estimates are free and done in person, for homes and for commercial spaces. Quoting a bathroom off a photograph is guessing, and the guess is always wrong in the same direction.
We will tell you if you do not need us
If your hardwood can be refinished instead of replaced, we will say so. If the thing you are describing is a plumbing job rather than a tile job, we will say that too.
Materials at a discount
We offer discounted pricing on materials and will help you choose them, then handle the whole process from start to finish — so you are not managing three suppliers yourself.
